Aime Peret (Kunst)
Aime Peret (1847-1927) was a French painter known for his landscapes, still lives, and scenes de genre. Born in Lyon (Rhone), Aimé Perret was a student of Joseph Benoit Guichard, Antoine Vollon, Puvis de Chavannes, and attended the School of Fine Arts in Lyon.
Perret debuted at the Salon of French Artists in 1869. He received a Medal of Honor in 1887 and 1888. He also won a medal in 1889 at the Universal Exposition. He was given the Title of Chevalier of the Legion of Honor in 1884. Perrret was one of the founders of the national Society of Fine Arts.
