Bertjan Pot (Kunst)

Born in Holland in 1975, he graduated from the Eindhoven Academy in 2008. Tall, young and handsome, like the stylist Magiela he never reveals his face. A freelance designer, he is fascinated by materials and the production process; entranced by computer aesthetics and industrial techniques, but his works are always based on matter and its potential. Many of his projects can be defined as structural/non-structured skins, as weaves that become thicker, turning resistant and three-dimensional.In 2005 he won the Elle Décor Award with his Carbon Chair, produced in cooperation with Marcel Wanders for Moooi and part of the permanent collection at the MOMA in New York.
