Christopher Niquet (Kunst)

While attending Sorbonne University in Paris, French born stylist Christopher Niquet worked in the fashion department of Self Service magazine. Balancing his time between his studies and Self Service, he began working closely with fashion director Suzanne Koller.

Upon graduating in 1998, he embarked on his long lasting relationship with A.P.C, adding new creative depth to the brand. Christopher successfully launched Section Musicale, A.P.C’s record label, paralleled by exhibitions in Paris and Tokyo with photographer Pierre Bailly, a film with director Zoe Cassavetes and book launches with illustrator Charles Anastase. Adding further dimension to the brand, Christopher fused music and fashion by working closely with bands such as Primal Scream, Death in Vegas and Richard Hell to design a collection for the label.

Christopher Niquet served as fashion director of Mixt(e) Magazine in Paris from 2004 to 2007. He has contributed to such publications as Self Service, Another Magazine, Dazed & Confused, 10, 10 Men, Numero Tokyo, US Elle and Purple.

Christopher has worked on advertising campaigns and consulted for such brands as Chanel, Fendi, Alessandro Dell’Acqua, D&G, Hermes, Anna Molinari, Karl Lagerfeld and Zac Posen.

Christopher Niquet is currently based in New York.
