Damia Garozzo (Kunst)

Born in North Queensland Australia, Damian set his sights on the international stage at an early age.

Damian moved from his hometown of Cairns at the age of 15 to pursue a career as a professional ballroom dancer, training and competing in countries like UK, USA and Russia, all the while completing his final years of high school via distance education.

Whilst on the road, Damian diligently learned how to apply makeup to his dance partner for competitions, and it was this routine practice that sparked a passion that would eventually turn into a career.

At 19 years old, Damian completed a makeup program under the guidance of Oscar’s winning makeup artist Peter Frampton, and it wasn't long before he hung up his dancing shoes for good to relocate his life to Paris in pursuit of a fulltime career as a makeup artist.

Soon enough he began assisting some of industries biggest names including Peter Philips, Stephane Marais, Topolino and Linda Cantello.

Damians portfolio bloomed thanks to collaboration with photographers such as Ellen Von Unwerth, Gareth McConnell, Jez Smith, Stéphane Gautronneau, Greg Williams, Cameron Smith, Fabrice Dall'Anese, Mason Poole, Dinah Hayt, Jair Sfez and Duy Quoc Vo.

His commercial clients have included Playstation, Rolex, Swatch, Rip Curl, Maxime Simoens, Mal-Aimée and Galeries Lafayette.

Damians services have been requested for celebrities such as Monica Belluci, Jean Paul Gaultier, Erin Wasson, Melanie Laurent, Alice Dellal, Lou Doillon, Daisy Lowe, Abbey Cornish, Josephine de la Baume, Cécile Cassel, Keren Ann, Audrey Marnay and Ana Girardot.

Damian is currently based in Paris.
