Met een gloednieuwe collectie lampen van een 12-tal externe designers wil Jean Dominique Leze het bedrijf van Bernard Forestier tien jaar na zijn dood en twintig jaar na het ontstaan van het bedrijf herlanceren. Zo ontwierp de Israëlische designer Arik Levy, die sinds 1997 samen met Pierro Lionni in Parijs de studio L-Design runt, onder andere de lampen ‘Dom’ en ‘Flat’ voor Forestier. Zowel qua techniek als materiaal stelt Levy eenvoud centraal. Ook de Franse Elise Fouin, die op de grens tussen kunst en design balanceert, brengt enkele lampen uit bij Forestier. Aangezien Fouin graag met papier werkt, gebruikte ze het ook voor haar lamp ‘Circus’. Naast verlichting brengt Forestier een paar andere voorwerpen op de markt. De spiegels ‘Paddle’ en ‘Folio’ van Ionna Vautrin zijn de meest bijzondere.

As key features of the Forestier catalogue, lighting and its environment comes to the fore, more relevant than ever. Unusual tools and solutions, new technology (solar and LED, etc.) combine with new forms of know-how to convey the poetic and aesthetic spirit so dear to Forestier.
