Gina Gilbert moved from Boca Raton, Florida to New York City in 1990, where she got her start in coloring at The Peter Coppola Salon.

She currently works at The Serge Normant at John Frieda Salon. Where she has been working closely with Serge Normant for the last seven years and has also developed a long standing relationship with stylist and colorist Harry Josh.

Through her work at the salon and her exceptional relationships with salon clientele Gina has created color for many A-list celebrities including Glenn Close, Sarah Jessica Parker, Julia Roberts, Julianne Moore, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Connelly, Ellen Barkin, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, Kyra Sedgwick, Michelle Williams, Tea Leoni, and Faith Hill, to name a few.

She specializes in coloring wigs and her work with wigs and models has been featured in such magazines as W, Allure, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Arena and a host of others.

In addition to salon and print work Gina has done work and makeovers for various television programs including The Oprah Winfrey show.

Today Gina works regularly with the top people in the fashion industry.

Gina resides in New York.
