TERMS & CONDITIONS

By using this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.

Unless specifically agreed between Household Hardware and you, the customer, no other terms and conditions will apply.

Household Hardware may change these terms without notice to you. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders received.

An agreement will be reached by an order-confirmation sent by email to the customer by Household Hardware.

We reserve the right to refuse an order. Non-acceptance of an order may, for example, result from the product being unavailable from stock or our inability to obtain authorisation of payment

Our products are often home-made by independent craftsmen and can therefore differ from each other, making every product unique. Slight nicks and scratches are possible but serve to add to the products charm and uniqueness.

Purchase of products
WHOLESALE: minimum order amount is €300. Prices are in Euro’s ex VAT and ex transportation costs. For orders within the Netherlands above €750 we offer free delivery.

WEBSHOP: for the Netherlands: prices are mentioned in Euro's. For orders above €65 we offer free delivery. Below €65 transportation costs will be €7,50.

After receiving the payment, the order (if available) will be dispatched within 5 working-days by parcelpost.

If there has been no payment received within 7 days, we reserve the right to cancel the order.

All products remain property of Household Hardware until the customer has fullfilled the agreement.

Delivery
Cost of transport or postal charges will be listed on the order-confirmation by Household Hardware.

Household Hardware cannot be held responsible for damages to the products or loss of products during transport or forwarding post. If there is any proven responsibility for damages by Household Hardware then the maximum compensation to be claimed will be the amount of the order.

Household Hardware is not responsible for late delivery by transport-companies or postal services.

If the ordered product is not available or out of stock, Household Hardware will get in touch with the customer as soon as possible. The customer will then have the choice of a complete refund or a later delivery.

Force majeure
In case of force majeure, Household Hardware cannot be held responsible.

Household Hardware cannot be held to any agreement with a customer or potential customer, if they are hindered by situations not to be blamed on Household Hardware or causes beyond their control.

Household Hardware can mediate between a customer and for instance a tiler, but will have no resonsibility for the quality of work or the price quoted.

Returns and exchanges
Household Hardware has made every effort to inform customers as accurately as possible about their products. If a product is nevertheless unsatisfactory, it may be returned or exchanged.

Our products are mostly handicraft and handmade and can therefore differ from each other, They are mostly unique pieces. Small nicks and scratches are part of the products' charm, and cannot be seen as a lesser quality.

Reduced articles cannot be returned or exchanged.

The customer must inform Household Hardware by email info@householdhardware.nl within 7 days of receiving the products that they wish to return them, stating the reason.

The products must be returned in their original condition, undamaged and in the original packaging.

The customer is responsible for the cost of returning products. Products must be returned fully stamped, if not they will not be accepted by Household Hardware.

The amount paid will be refunded within 30 days.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.

Complaints and responsibilities
Before dispatching all products will be meticulously checked by Household Hardware. Should there nevertheless be reason for a complaint about a product,

please email Household Hardware, info@householdhardware.nl explaining the complaint. Household Hardware will react by telephone or email.

Household Hardware will consider if the complaint is just, in that case we will refund at most the amount paid including the transport costs.

Household Hardware cannot be held responsible for wrongful use of one of their products.

Household Hardware cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect damages occuring in any way after the products have been delivered. This applies to the customer as well as any third parties.

Copyright and privacy
All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to Household Hardware. Any use of the site or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without the written permission of Household Hardware.

Your data will enable us to process and fulfil your order and will be stored in our database. This information will never be passed to third parties.

Application of rights
In case of legal procedures in which Household Hardware is an interested party, only Dutch law is applicable, even if the customer is living abroad.
