Jackie Johnston
After many years as an Associate Director with a major Australian Practice and having worked internationally based in the United Kingdom, Jackie now leads a team of young, dynamic designers at Lombard & Jack Design Studio. A stylish and versatile designer, Jackie finds great enjoyment in crafting unique solutions to complex design problems.
Jackies strong architectural aesthetic, teamed with a love of detail ensures each project is well considered, resolved and meaningful.
With extensive knowledge in the area of high end hospitality design, past projects include the design of the highly acclaimed refurbishment of Crown Towers and the Exclusive Royal Suites at the Sofitel Hotel Melbourne.
With a strong Client focus and collaborative approach, Jackie has over 20 years experience with the design, documentation and implementation of large scale commercial projects. Inspired by history, popular culture and a love of fashion, Jackies design philosophy centres around the creation of unique spaces that surprise and delight.
Jackies prime objective is not only to fulfill the complex requirements of the project brief, but to ensure the end product is both timeless, enduring and ultimately reinforces our clients individual brand.
Kath Lombard
Kath is a renowned Melbourne based interior designer with extensive knowledge in the Design Industry. Kath established and lead Kathryn Lombard Design Consultants, a successful interior design business for 15 years, largely specialising in high end Residential and Commercial projects.
Kath was then invited to join an Internationally renowned architectural practice to head the Design team on one of Melbournes most prestigious Apartment project, converting the iconic Mercy Hospital into glamours apartments -150 Clarendon Street East Melbourne. Once completed Kath spent the next five years as an Associate Director and entered the specialty field of gaming and hospitality including public spaces, restaurants and high roller gaming salons.
Kath has an engaging, dynamic and enthusiastic personality whose extensive travel has been a major source of inspiration. From concept design, considered spatial planning through to intricate detailing these experiences are captured in her theatrical and distinctive interiors. Her portfolio includes the dramatic Sho noodle bar at Crown, Teak Room Private Gaming Salons and Restaurant, Teak Terrace and the Casinos exclusive premier nightclub, Club 23.
Kaths experience in Design also extends to building strong Client relationships, effective business management and design team leadership. Kath has mentored and developed the talents of many young designers whom now form part of the Lombard and Jack Design Studio based in Port Melbourne.
