Jessica Diehl arrived in New York from her native Germany in 1995 and proceeded, as the saying goes, to take the city by storm. Her first stop on this journey was as an assistant to stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele followed by work with Vogue creative director Grace Coddington. She remained at Vogue for three years as a contributing editor and by 2006 was appointed Senior Style Editor at Vanity Fair where she now serves as Fashion and Style Director.

Since joining the magazine Jessica worked on a number of memorable shoots for which the magazine is well known including the innovative series of twenty covers for the Africa issue, the World Cup and the Hitchcock Classics portfolios as well as the Hollywood portfolio.

Throughout a stellar career Jessica has contributed to some of the most prominent magazines in the world including Interview, Vogue, Men’s Vogue, Teen Vogue, Vogue Nippon, Italian Vogue, German Vogue and V. She has also worked with an impressive list of photographers, among them Annie Leibovitz, Steven Meisel, Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Testino, Mikael Jansson, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Terry Richardson, Norman Jean Roy, Ellen von Unwerth, Mark Seliger, David Bailey, Nathaniel Goldberg, Greg Kadel, Magnus Unnar, Thomas Schenk and Arthur Elgort.

Jessica’s celebrity list reads like a who’s who of Hollywood A-listers – Kate Winslet, Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson, Nicole Kidman, Keira Knightley, Charlize Theron, Marion Cotillard, Emma Watson, January Jones, Rene Zellweger, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kirsten Dunst, Selma Blair, Blake Lively, Amanda Seyfried, Lindsay Lohan, Tina Faye, Lou Doillon, Beyonce Knowles, George Clooney, Jack Nicholson, Brad Pitt, Bruce Willis, Jay-Z, Bono, Kanye West, Lady Gaga and Madonna.

Jessica has consulted and styled designer fashion shows during the all-important seasonal fashion weeks. Designers that she has worked with include Chris Benz, J. Mendel, Richard Chai, Anne Klein, Alice Roi and Adam+Eve.
