Malou

Designer Malou Poelmans received her degree in 2006, studying at Artez, the school of Arts in Arnhem, The Netherlands. After graduation from the academy she launched her own label, MALOU bags&accessories.
Her collection can be recognized by the outstanding combination of ruggedness and elegance. Bags that stand out because of their simplicity and thought through detailing.
Designing originates from the material used. By pleating and folding the material the bags take their form. The simplicity of their design and integrity of the materials makes them feel organically chic. Rich, natural shades and varying suppleness (from the softest slouchy suede to rigid hides) create elegant yet rugged satchels that maintain their raw edges and interiors.
