Rikke Jakobsen was born in the north of Denmark in 1974.

She has always been interested in the idea of fusing craftsmanship and manufacturing. Having worked with studio pottery for many years, she went on to take a degree in Ceramic Design from the Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London, where she began to explore how to incorporate her vision of craftsmanship, quality and personal design into a range of manufactured items.

The collection is versatile, with pieces ranging from delicate platters, cups and bowls to vases etc in Fine and New Bone China.

The form of each item is significant and highly decorative. Functional - but also visually pleasing - they have been created for use singly or alongside other items, and will adapt to any occasion or setting.

All items are available in plain white and with various decorations.

The collection as a whole strongly reflects the simplicity, elegance and high quality of designer Rikke Jakobsen’s craftsmanship.
