Robert Mefford (Kunst)

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Robert spent his early twenties in New York. After developing a distinct set of styling and cutting skills at the Paul Mitchell Academy, Robert became a cutting and color specialist and moved on to salons such as Estilo, Neil George, Prive and presently Byron Tracey Salon.

To name a few, Mefford has worked with celebrities Yvonne Strahovski, Milla Jovovich, Nikki Reed, Katrina Bowden, Zoe Saldana, Shenae Grimes, Gisele and Olivia Munn; he has been blessed to work with well-known photographers such as Michael Thompson, Gilles Bensimon, Mark Seliger, Sheila Metzner, and Matthew Rolston.

Robert was recently written up in Allure Magazine and named as LA’s “Makeover Master.” Whether he is working on an editorial, an advertising campaign, or a red carpet look, Mefford’s versatility comes through for any client.

Frequently inspired by mentor Recine, he makes use of organic and architectural shapes to mold his innovative and timeless looks. Robert’s ability to think outside the box and his strong work ethic, allow him to produce a collaborative vision with styles that move with texture. He displays a rare combination of both creative and technical flexibility. These assets have ensured his success within the entertainment and fashion industries.

Robert currently divides his time between Los Angeles and New York.
