Wada completed his training at a makeup school in Japan. At the age of 22, he began working on a freelance basis and gained extensive popularity. Wada derives his inspiration from each individual model or subject. He is requested for a wide range of makeup techniques, from extremely clean, virtually bare looking skin, to more dramatic effects. Wada loves utilizing colors from nature, but believes that the application of only one color is too pallid. Instead, a range of complementary colors should be used to best enhance the desired look, and he has found that watercolors best achieve this effect.
