Harmen Wiersma (Kunst)

Harmen Wiersma, born in 1959 in Groningen, was brought up in Veendam, and living now in Swifterbant, The Netherlands. Although he hasn't had any artistic education at an art-institute, he has spend his entire life drawing and (technical) designing, w/o a computer. A few years ago he has developed his own style and he is very content with its results in several galleries. With his Apple Macintosh computer, he has been able to recreate the look of his designs to resemble other forms of 'Painting' styles, such as water colors and most his subjects sway towards plant and animal life. But you'll encounter other styles in his collection too. All of his extra-ordinary designs are in the beginning fractals then edited and changed with Photoshop, Fireworks, Gimp or Painter. Other applications are not forgotten, like Flash and Dreamweaver, in the creation and presentation of animations and pages on the world wide web. Under the aliases of undisclosed designer and darkchrystal, he has several galleries, where you may view his work.
