Ira van Duykeren (Kunst)

*****
As a little girl I sat by grandmaster “daddy” in his atelier and watched how he made the most beautiful paintings. As curious I was, I also tried…and…it succeeded a bit. It was a lot of practice to be as good as my father..but there were other plans with me and other interesting experiences came along to my personal path. After puberty I had just a few times a pencil in my hands, but I was always very creative in whatever I did and I had a nick name “crea-bea”. From everything I’ve thatched, I have made something creative and it was delivered with big joy.

After 12 years in the fitness industry and done everything that’s possible, it was time to make a big change to set new goals, accept new experiences and challenges. Being creative has followed me all those years and started to itch. It was very exciting to start and since July 2008 you can find me at daily basis in my own atelier in Holland & Hungary. I work on own projects or in command. To paint different materials (for example: canvas, panel, walls) with acryl-, oil- or water paint, nothing is to crazy. My favorite is wood, because of the many possibilities. In line I keep myself busy with photography, inclusive operation.

My goal was to start an exposition in October 2009, but has already taken place between 27 t/m 29 march that year.
