Sonja Brussen (1974) lives and works in the charming town of Lochem. She has studied with Jos Clover (teacher at the High School of the Arts in Arnhem). She also took additional courses with the latest upgrade to ArtEz.

She is a painter par excellence, daily and always busy with her work can be found behind her easel in her studio, but also many in the, field 'Man, animals and landscape in all its facets they are her inspiration.

Sonja mainly focuses on painting, drawing and landscape art. Her love for nature puts them nowadays stuck in her plein air work. This means that next day at work in her studio lot out in the field to find. In short, painting in nature, to nature!
