Girl crush alert! Seriously. We don’t throw these statements out freely – but with today’s post, it is a requirement. The story of powerhouse Jennifer Fisher began with a simple dog tag chain. When Fisher had her first child Shane, she was looking for the perfect accessory that that not only had his name on it, but also exemplified her personal style. She searched around for that special something, and unable to find exactly what she was looking for, she took matters into her own hands and made it herself. All the power to you! From there, the birth of her business was born, and the world was happily graced with Jennifer Fisher Jewelry. Thank God! Now a Barneys and Moda staple, her sick jewels began to catch the attention of wardrobe stylists and consultants around the globe, and within a matter of months, her creations were featured on shows and films like Sex and the City the Movie, Gossip Girl, Entourage, and Ugly Betty. Because of her, the necks of some of Hollywood’s most kick ass moms…err…yummy mummy’s were adorned with her chic designs, like Sarah Jessica Parker, Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts, Liv Tyler, Uma Thurman, and Gwyneth Paltrow. Oh, did we mention two of our iPod “Gym Mix” requirements Mary J. Blige and Rihanna rock her goodies? She cites part of her inspiration from Tom Ford as well. “Anything Tom Ford is a collector’s item in my book. He’s the s*it and the years he was at Gucci will always be one of my favorite times in fashion”. Can we get an “Amen”? Her line has grown to over 400 charms, four types of colored gold and diamond options, and when her daughter Drew was born, she began to evolve her line, bringing in pave black or white diamond gothic letters, studded cuffs, insect charms, and skull rings. But, this ain’t no typical mom, and judging from her dope apartment with Lichtenstein peices, Jonathan Adler accessories, a plethora of rock and roll-inspired mementos and super luxe pillows, it’s quite evident. There’s no denying it: this trio is hooked on the one and only Fisher…and there’s no turning back.

Jennifer Fisher, a native of Santa Barbara, California, began her career in fashion, working in both Los Angeles and New York as a wardrobe stylist for numerous feature films, television shows, and commercials. After 10 years of dressing some of the biggest names in Hollywood, Jennifer met her husband and moved to New York City where they decided to start her family.

When their first child Shane was born Jennifer wanted a piece of jewelry that not only had his name on it, but also expressed her personal style. Unable to find anything unique and not mass produced, she designed her own special piece that reflected the significance of his birth. It was a simple dog tag charm hand stamped with his name on it, which she wore on a long, thick link chain. After friends, family, and strangers requesting that Jennifer make them pieces of their own, Jennifer Fisher Jewelry was born.

Today, Jennifer's clientele has grown from the everyday woman to celebrities alike, providing each person with individualized pieces and the personal attention they deserve.

"I wanted to create jewelry that signified my own personal style, incorporated all things I loved, and could be worn all the time."

Jennifer's jewelry has been seen on many celebrity moms such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts, Liv Tyler, Uma Thurman, and Gwyneth Paltrow. Young celebrities, unmarried women and even men are all fans of the line- as each pendant is representative of the things they love in their life.

Jennifer Fisher Jewelry has been worn in many feature films and hit television shows such as, Sex and the City the Movie, Entourage, The Hills, The L Word, Weeds, Ugly Betty, and Gossip Girl.

From a simple dog tag in 14k yellow gold came an extensive line of over 4000 charms, with four types of colored gold and various diamond options, all inspired by elements and influences from Jennifer's life. The collection also includes stacked gold cuff bracelets, double finger rings adorned with black and white diamonds, hoop earrings, and hand stamped or engraved charms, all designed so that they can be worn alone or layered.

"The feeling I strive to create for my customers is a casual edge, one that will make them feel dressed and finished the moment they put on my jewelry no matter what they are wearing"

Since the birth of her daughter Drew, Jennifer has continued to expand the line. She is always adding new collections, which most recently consists of pave black or white diamond gothic letters, studded cuffs, insect charms, and skull rings. Jennifer prides herself on providing "mom jewelry" for a woman with an edge, someone who is not afraid to take a risk, and represent what she loves in the most stylish way.

No matter how much the line continues to grow, the foundation of Jennifer Fisher Jewelry will always remain the same, customizing everything to order and making each piece just yours alone.
