Digital artist Martijn Hage creates his own 'virtual nature': imaginary worlds, which he conceives, forms and visualises in full freedom, trying to stimulate your senses by re-shaping the evolution. In an attempt to catch the feeling, one might use words like spatial, atmospheric, surrealistic and magic realism. The irony of contradictions is often a source of inspiration for Martijn Hage. Icons and symbols from earth, culture, religion and technology are being 'metamorphed' into timeless compositions and symbolic events, showing different dimensions.
