Nikki Providence was born and raised in small towns in the Midwest. She spent her childhood escaping through art, fashion magazines, MTV, and CNN's Style by Elsa Klensch. Once safely out of high school, she headed to the nearest big city: Chicago, where she trained in the Vidal Sassoon method of haircutting. Soon after, she had built up a devoted clientele of models, booking agents and socialites.

Next was the move to Los Angeles, where she quickly began working in commercials and music videos. Inspired to create characters blending illusion and natural beauty, she learned to work with wigs and studied under some of the most notable stylists in the fashion industry.

Nikki's work ranges from commercials to fashion editorials and she has carefully cultivated a rabidly loyal client base almost exclusively through word of mouth. Clients range from Zooey Deschanel to Betty White, Benefit Cosmetics to Amazon Kindle. She has collaborated with diverse photographers and publications such as Tierney Gearon, Michael Thompson, Jeremy Kost, Angelo Pennetta, Love Magazine and Vanity Fair.

Nikki loves being a part of fashion week and has participated every season in New York since 2009. She has also worked on the shows in Paris.

She now spends her time between Los Angeles and New York.
