My name is Kristy and I am a librarian with a serious case of crafting ADHD and if I am lucky every now and again one of my friends will let me loose in public with a glass of wine! I am inspired by vintage and handmade and my favourite thing is to mix the two! I love vintage embroidery and buttons and hand printed fabrics and I like very simple design. When it comes to my bags and purses I like to let the relationships between fabrics dictate - colour and texture and pattern are primary when it comes to fabric choice! My bags and purses are designed to be used and abused! They are made of 100% cotton unless I have used vintage fabric. I love buttons and adorn all my bags and purses with a mix of new and vintage buttons. You can throw them most of them straight in the wash and lay them out flat to dry and you are ready to hit the road again. They soften beautifully over time and can be worn like a huge pocket to compliment your outfit! I use only the best quality fabrics.
