Sandy Ganzer was born and raised in Southern California. Her father, an acknowledged sculptor, painter and sportswear designer, exposed her to the art world at a very young age. He taught her about style, color theory and music. Her mother showed her that beauty lies everywhere and filled her head with the notion she could do anything she set her mind to.

By the age of twelve Sandy knew she wanted to be a makeup artist. When pressed in high school to pick a more "sensible" career she briefly decided she could be a plastic surgeon or a mortician, never being able to stray too far from the desire to make people more beautiful. After high school Sandy briefly attended a local art school, but her passion for makeup eventually won out and Sandy set forth to pursue a career in the beauty industry.

Sandy began her career in makeup by surrounding herself with a creative community of artists, frequently collaborating with photographers and stylist whom were friends. This eventually led to her work being featured in magazines such as W, Elle, French Elle, L’Uomo Vogue, Japanese Vogue, Teen Vogue, Muse and Oyster to name a few.

With a focus capitalizing on her subjects natural beauty, Sandy has made a name for herself as the go-to makeup artist for fresh, flawless and youthful beauty, lending her hand to advertising campaigns that include Levi's, Lee, Coca Cola, Nike, Adidas and Ray-Ban amongst others.

Sandy is currently based in Los Angeles.
