I have always enjoyed two different "dump cake" recipes, and I couldn't imagine how anyone could write a book on the subject. Since I'd only heard of two variations, I foolishly assumed there couldn't be more than 2-3 I hadn't heard about. Not only does this book have more than a couple of new recipes, they all sound delicious, and none of them are the dump cakes I grew up eating! I was really pleasantly surprised to find that none of the recipes require a can of soda, as well. I'm really looking forward to trying some of these new recipes, particularly the pumpkin and peach!
