Go to college without going broke: 33 ways to save your time, money and sanity - Grigory Lukin (Boek)

*****
Today's college students face many challenges such as overabundant credit card offers, sky-high tuition, obscenely expensive textbooks, etc. Unlike most books in this genre, "Go to college without going broke" was written by an actual college student that used those tips to get through college. Instead of generic, old-fashioned, one-size-fits-all advice, Grigory Lukin offers a unique perspective on saving one's time, money and sanity while in pursuit of a college degree.

The 33 tips contained in this New York Times-featured book are guaranteed to help current college students, as well as those who plan to go to college in the near future. That makes this book a perfect present to every young person, as well as required reading for everyone interested in going back to school.

Review
This eBook is filled with many practical tips and has something for everyone. Taking a few minutes out of your schedule to try to apply some of these tips will go a long way in helping you save money while in college. --www.studenomics.com

Grigory's e-book is full of unconventional ideas for paying for college. I was impressed with the unique ideas he came up with. If you're an outside-the-box thinker, this book is definitely for you! --www.ultimatemoneyblog.com

As a college student, I already knew some of the tips in this book, but the tips I didn't know will save me a fortune. :-) I don't want to post any spoilers, but the tip about getting free textbooks was nothing short of brilliant.

Lukin made some very interesting points about saving money. I have made use of his advice to buy my books online, I was able to buy three books for the price my bookstore was charging for a brand new math book. Pick up this book if you're starting college or starting a new semester and compare how much you spent other semesters to how much you spend after reading this book, you'll be amazed at the saving.

Most of the items in here are pretty basic and usually you find out about this once you get to campus. The chapter on text booms would be worth the price of the book. In today's internet age, there are boundless opportunities to find cheap text books. I have taken classes where the text books cost more than the class.
