The Lettered Cottage (Kunst)

We’re Kevin and Layla Palmer, we live in the deep South. (Prattville, Alabama to be exact!), and like our header says, our blog is our playground and passion pushes our swing!

We named our blog, “The Lettered Cottage” because of the passion we share for writing, and our love of fixing up homes. It also seemed sort of approriate that the first letter of each word is “T”, “L”, and “C”, because our little cottage-that-could, definitely needs lots of tender lovin’ care.
In 2008, we left our day jobs to chase our dreams, and even though the ride has been pretty bumpy along the way, we’re determined to stay the course, and design a life we love!

We enjoy shooting interior photography for national home magazines and HGTV.com, reading & writing books, making music, and documenting our “renoventures” here on our blog.
We teamed up with an awesome production company and shot a pilot episode for HGTV in September of 2011, but unfortunately we found out it wouldn’t go to series in February of 2012.
